Heidi Pherson, Client Advocate
Heidi Pherson started her sober journey at an AA meeting in NYC’s West Village and never looked back.
Since that night in 2012, Heidi has placed daily meditation and living a life of service at the center of her life, with a particular focus on compassionately supporting those in addiction recovery. “We’re all just walking each other home,” says Ram Dass, one of Heidi’s favorite teachers.
Heidi holds a RADT-1 and is currently training to become a Chemical Dependency Counselor. She has worked in dual diagnosis treatment since 2014 and holds Oro House Recovery close to her heart.
As our Client Advocate, Heidi connects one-on-one with past and present clients to offer support on their extended journey, and loves showing how joyful sobriety can be. Heidi believes sobriety is a “we” way of life and that community is an essential part of sobriety.
Heidi lives in Topanga, California with her beloved husband and fellow yogi Gavin. You can find Heidi hiking the old Chumash land, foraging for plants, and enjoying the ocean breeze.
