Before MVP, Suzi worked as a Senior PATHH Guide at Boulder Crest Retreat (BCR) in Bluemont, Virginia, a privately funded retreat for combat veterans, their families and first responders. She is one of the co-creators of BCR’s, signature program called Warrior PATHH, which stands for Progressive and Alternative Training Healing Heroes.

PATHH is the nation’s first veteran’s retreat based on the science of Posttraumatic Growth. PATHH is now offered, by other veteran service organizations, around the country.

Suzi has also consulted with many veteran organizations, including, the Wounded Warrior Project, Save A Warrior, and Veteran’s 360. She is also on the Board of Directors for Guardian Hills, a new rural retreat center for veterans and first responders.

HIGH is a ground and mounted activity program where horses help humans practice a principled, authentic, and congruent way of being.

Suzi has recently returned to consult for Oro House Recovery Centers, a Compassionate Care model of treatment for addiction and mental health, in Malibu, California. She served as Oro’s first Clinical Director, changing the addiction story from “it is not what’s wrong, with us, it’s what happened to us!

With the support of Posttraumatic Wisdom, we, now, get to create the person we deserve to be and life we deserve to live.”

Recently, Suzi created a podcast called Be Crazy Well, produced by podcast production organization, Coming Home Well.
