Andrew ‘Drew’ Dennett, Associate Clinical Social Worker #115630
Andrew ‘Drew’ Dennett, Associate Clinical Social Worker #115630, has worked at Oro House Recovery Centers as a residential advisor and shift lead and has been with the company since 2019.
He received his MSW from the University of Southern California Dworack-Peck School of Social Work.
He has had experience working with various populations prior to working at Oro House. For his first year internship at the University of Southern California, he worked as a case manager at a homeless services agency near skid row in downtown Los Angeles.
Drew takes a client-centered and relational approach when working with the clients he is seeing.
He also works from a psychodynamic and eclectic lens by blending elements of psychodynamic therapy along with other modalities (e.g., DBT, interpersonal psychotherapy, etc).
Drew believes that relentless curiosity and self-exploration leads to forming a sense of identity and purpose, which is imperative for long-term recovery.
In addition to being a therapist, Drew enjoys playing his bass, discovering new music, re-watching old movies, exploring new restaurants in Los Angeles, and spending time with his partner.
Andrew ‘Drew’ Dennett is registered with the BBS under ASW 115630 and he is under the supervision of Carson Winn, LCSW #60943.
